Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge
This tour departs at 8:00 am from Tilajari and will take you through the most important citrus groves, pineapple and sugar cane plantations of Costa Rica. You will arrive at Los Chiles on the northern border around 9:45 am. From here you'll be taken on a comfortable 3 ½ hours boat ride up the Río Frío, a tropical river alive with an immense variety of animals. Caño Negro consists of over 18,000 acres of lagoons and marsh land (tropical everglades).
The great biological diversity and the fact that many species found here cannot be seen in any other part of the country, attracting many bird watchers and nature lovers. Capuchin, spider and howler monkeys, sloth, garfish, roseate spoonbills, many types of herons, caimans and turtles are commonly found at this unique reserve. As many as 60 different types of birds have been seen spotted on this adventure tour.

Venado Caves
Costa Rica's Venado Caves are located 45 minutes north of the Tilajari Hotel Resort. During your caving experience you'll experience 8 separate caverns with different rock formations including stalactites and stalagmites.

As you explore the middle of the stream, you will be totally astonished when you see a small waterfall flow from the center of the cave, providing a most unique sight. This caving adventure tour includes: transportation entrance fee and bilingual guide services. Duration: 5 hours.

White Water Rafting (Level III – IV)
We do our rafting tour in the Sarapiqui River, the safest river, still unpolluted. For beginners and intermediate levels, this tour allows the tourists to enjoy a landscape full of natural life which they discover thanks to the assistance of our naturalist guides. In the middle of the way, a stop will be made in one of the river sides, a still water area where tourists will be able to swim and taste the delicious tropical fruits of the season. Distance: 7.5 miles.

Sky Tram and Trek Combo
Enjoy the trip on a gondola along with your guide, where you will have the opportunity to experience at first hand the rainforest canopy while enjoying spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake. This tour offers 4.5 miles of cables ranging from 99 to 660 feet above ground. Includes: Sky Tram Tour, Sky Trek and transportation.

Fishing at Arenal Lake
Lake Arenal offers one of the best fresh water fishing conditions in Costa Rica, fishing throughout the year for Guapote, a hump-back fish also known as rainbow bass as well as machaca. You can enjoy half of full day fishing. Transportation is not included.

Pure Trek Canyoning
You trip begins with a 30 minutes 4x4 drive into a tropical Rainforest outside the town of La Fortuna, along the way we will have the chance to see monkeys, toucans; sloth’s, parrots and discover the secrets that lie hidden deep in the canyon. When you arrive at the waterfalls you will rappel from the top down into the beautiful pristine canyon below. After trekking through the canyon there will be more rappel down to other waterfalls that will take you to the tranquil pools to enjoy some snacks, do some bird watching, or just relax in this unspoiled paradise.
